I see the sidebar colors in Affinity are in html5.
Can someone please point me to a tutorial on the code?
I am at a loss as to how to change the color of the side bar, etc.
Thanks ellie

See "Changing Column Attributes" in the user guide.

Thanks.
Every time I try and change the color code of the gradient, it does not work. The gradient goes away and the color does not change.
If I upgrade to the latest DW version , will affinity show up fully in design view?

It may be, it has something to do with your system.
Perhaps Al or Sinclair will pick up on this and advise.
It would also help if you could provide your operating system details, PC or Mac, versions etc.

I use windows 7 and DW cs5.
In design view I cant see the side bar at all.
I can see it in live view, but the gradient is not there and the corners are not rounded.
Is the latest version of DW cc?
Are business wanting one page sites now? Mobile ready one page sites and then another site that is Responsive, with all the pages in it?

Live view is not helpful, it is a crutch that doesn't work well. Better to save your page and then just look at it in your favorite browser then you will see your gradients and so many other things that "live view" doesn't show.
When you make a change to your file save it and then just refresh your browser and you will see your changes.
