   Using DW and FW CS6 (not CC) for a couple of years, today a notification appeared offering an update for AdobeAAMUpdater. Why, when CS6 products, according to Adobe, won't be updated did this happen?

   I disabled the scheduled task for this, any issues that might cause?

   That's the update utility and it did ship with CS6. Perhaps the updater has not been updated in a while :-) I turned mine off 2 years ago when I got a new main computer. There are no meaningful updates for CS6 anyway. Actually, there are no meaningful updates for CC either :-)

   Thanks Al, I guess if I'd taken the update I'd be bombarded with upgrade offers, I closed it and disabled it, I've no desire to subscribe to CC. lol @ your CC comment :-)

   There are no meaningful updates for CS6 anyway. Actually, there are no meaningful updates for CC either :-)

   Nevertheless I have done two upgrades since I bought DW CS6. Hopefully there will be additional upgrades of new versions of DW. Adobe shall not forece us to use DW CC.

   I upgrade regularily. I don't know whether Adobe look at the living HTML standard: https://html.spec.whatwg.org.

   As a Norwegian and user of the Opera webbrowser I think Opera is a member of https://whatwg.org. Now I use the newer and more andvanced Norwegian browser https://vivaldi.com that I use when writing this comment.

   I have not been bombarded with upgrade offers when upgrading DW CS6.
