Suppose I have a list of 10 items. How can I use SML to hide the last seven list items and initially show just the first three. Is it necessary to have two lists or is there a way to do it with one? Thanks.

I may be stepping out of bounds here, but a few months ago I asked Al for a dynamic solution which he graciously provided to me. So I have been able to tie results to a database, which in your case you want to do and show only a few. So that could be solved by setting a database to show only 3 results.
The solution has been great for me.

My humble opinion: P7 could focus more on myql/php solutions.
In another thread, I took the wonderful new Magic Box and recoded to pull from database.
Al, Gerry: go for dynamic!

I've been away, thanks for the replies. I just want to be able to split ordered and unordered lists. I'm not using mysql or the like. How to do that? Thanks

I'd really like some help with this. How can I split a list using Show More/less?
