I'm looking at the examples of Video Background magic and I can't see any control buttons, just words:
pause_circle_outline
Is it possible to have actual buttons and are they styleable through CSS? Thanks.

The icons are there for me in all browsers and devices. They are using Material Icons so if you see the text it simply means you are using a way-old browser. Can you tell us if this is the case for you on all browsers, and if so, precisely which?
I'm using Pale Moon 27.5.1 64 bit. It's the latest version released on October 10 this month so I don't consider that old.
That is not a very good browser and it is statistically irrelevant. Try a major browser such as Chrome, Firefox, or Edge, please.
How is it not a good browser? With the way Firefox is going I expect more people to be moving to Pale Moon.
The last thing this industry needs is a new browser. It is basically one big Firefox add-on... with issues. The bottom line is that Material Icons are supported by the browsers that people use. I don't know... in a way it's like driving a Trabant. It's different :-) Another thing to consider is what their web site looks like when compared to Chrome's, Mozilla's, or even Opera's. It kinda sucks :-)
Nah, I much prefer it as it works without requiring javascript. It may look dated but the navigation is better for computer users. It's not responsive, though. I visited the Chrome and Mozilla sites, pretty but empty. Anyway, in Safe Mode I could see the buttons. Is it possible to change them?
In safe mode? Seriously? The icons are fine. However, if you have a need to support an odd browser, then you can certainly change the icons to image or whatever you want. It is simply HTML and CSS.
I looked at some of your historic posts and know you are concerned with "JavaScript disabled", but this has nothing to do with JavaScript. It is simply a modern feature that your upstart browser has not gotten around to supporting. If you need help with creating your own icons, mail us directly and I'll try to give you as much help as I can.
Thanks for your offer of help. I purchased Video Background Magic and I'll see how I get on.
