Is there a way to control the white space above and below "Welcome to Global Education Alaska." http://globaleducationak.org/ I'd like to reduce the white space substantially.

Assign a User Class to the content column containing that heading and set padding-top to 0 (zero). You can also set a user class on the column above it and set padding-bottom to 0.
