Hi Support,
Thumbnails not appearing in AGM galleries, they are replaced with very small rectangles (4 per inch approx).
Use Thumbnails is ticked in the UI.
The thumbnail folder and the Images folder are separate folders and both are in the Root directory.
Browse was used to populate the Full Size Image Folder and the Thumbnail Image Folder dialog.
Are thumbnails required to be a specific size? mine are 100px x 100px.
Unable to include a link as site/page not gone live yet.
Thank you.

This sounds like you may have at some point selected the 'Use Thumbnails' option and then deselected the option, then reselected it, there's a note in the User Guide regarding this.....
Note: If your gallery was using thumbnails, and you deselect the Use Thumbnails option, your thumbnails will be removed from your gallery. If you wish to later revert back to using thumbnails, you will need to import or select them.
Perhaps this is what has happened?

Hi Sinlair,
Moved thumbnail folder into images folder as suggested tutorial.
Started new page and new gallery, nothing else on page.
Did not touch Use Thumbnails option, left it in default ticked.
This Full Size Image path in UI is "file:///C|/Users/stupid/1-My WebSites/2019LH4Design/images/"
The Thumbnail path in the UI is "file:///C|/Users/stupid/1-My WebSites/2019LH4Design/images/thumbnails/"
The thumbnails list will not appear in the UI.
The Full Size Image list appears OK.Succeeded in adding thumbnails using Assign Individual Thumbnail Image option.
Very tedious when many images involved.Posted 1 week ago -
I'm sorry, I don't know what to suggest, it works for me, I'm using DW cs6, anyway at least you've successfully managed albeit in tedious fashion!
Maybe someone else will chime in with a suggestion!

Thanks for trying.
I also use DW CS6.
Two very strange things:
The only way I can populate the Thumbnail list and Thumbnail preview using Browse is to do it before I use Browse to populate the Full Size Image list and preview.
Then when I Browse to and select the Full Size Image folder the previously populated Thumbnail list and Thumbnail preview are wiped out.
If I use the Full Size Image folder as the Thumbnail folder everything seems to work OK.
It appears to generate the Thumbnails from the Full Size Image folder.Regards.

Here's my workflow in the agm ui,....
1: Use Thumbnails - selected
2: Import Images
2: In newly opened interface - browse to your images/fullsize folder, select an image click OK - ditto for images/thumbnails folder.
3: You should see the list of fullsie and thumbnails side by side, below the list click the Select All button, then click OK.I can't get this to fail.

Doing exactly as you do but still unable to populate the Thumbnail list and The Thumbnail preview.
Thumbnail list and preview will populate if I use the Full Image Folder as the Thumbnail folder.
Thanks for your time.Posted 1 week ago -
Just for kicks I tried again, still I can't get it to fail, sorry.
If you are following the steps outlined in my previous post, The only difference that I can think of is that I keep two folders inside my images folder, one named fullsize, the other, thumbs, looking at your 2ndl post again, your folder structure is different in that your fullsize images are located in your images folder, see.....

Longshot but try seperate folders within your images folder for your fullsize and thumbnails perhaps that'll help.

Still refuses to load the Thumbnails using your suggested structure.
file:///C|/Users/stupid/1-My WebSites/2019LH4Design/images/fullsize/
file:///C|/Users/stupid/1-My WebSites/2019LH4Design/images/thumbnails/
You must be getting really tired of me/this.
Thank you again.Posted 1 week ago -
Show us an example of a full size image file name and also the name of its thumbnail counterpart.

Hi Al,
Hope this is what you asked for.
<li class="agm-section"><a href="images/fullsize/6.jpg"><img src="images/thumbnails/6_t.jpg" alt="6" width="160" height="120" /></a></li>Posted 1 week ago -
Full Size Image named "1.jpg"
Thumbnail named "1_t.jpg"Posted 1 week ago -
The naming is the problem. You have 2 choices:
1. Learn to use the "filters" in the import dialog
2. Change the name of your thumbnails to match your full-size images (always preferred when you have separate full-size and thumbnail folders)Full Size Image: full-size/1.jpg
Thumbnail: thumbnails/1.jpgTip:
When using file names that are numbered, use 2 digits to allow for proper sorting:01.jpg
02.jpg
etc.Tip 2: Filtering in the import dialog is covered in the AGM user guide.
