   Hi, all!

   I've never experienced this problem before. My blog's Home page opens only with a progress bar; no other content appears.

   Might this loading problem be related to JavaScript? If so, kindly guide me on what's needed, because I have no experience with JS.

   I get an error when looking at the Web Console in Firefox which says:
   TypeError: $blog_mini_carousel.tinycarousel is not a function

   (The js is located in your generic scripts.js file.)

   I thank you, stever, very much!

   I'd mistakenly deleted that "tinycarousel" JavaScript from the page while attempting to minimize the number of scripts on it. I didn't recognize that it was needed to control the text carousel effect at the bottom-left corner of my Home page titled "Latest."

   I replaced the JS and the page opens and the text carousel works well.

   Hello, again, stever!

   I wonder if you see the problem I now see, after I reinstalled the JavaScript entry.

   Using Safari and Chrome, that JS and related text (in the lower-left corner) doesn't appear in responsive mode, while it appears and operated well in standard view.

   Might you know the cause of this glitch? If so, what might I do to correct it so mobile device users can see that text and click the appropriate JS hyperlinks?

   A week has passed without finding a reply to my inquiry to stever. I'll resend it now.

   Can someone else determine why the text and JS appear as they should in full-size view but disappear on smartphones?

   Might this be a media query issue?

   It looks as though it's by design looking over the css, have you ever checked this page in a smaller device/small browser window?

   Anyway, if you look at your blog.css stylesheet, at or around line #511, in that media query, you'll find this rule....

   .fullscreen-gallery .gallery-caption, .fullscreen-gallery .gallery-caption .entry-summary { position: relative; }

   Try commenting that out and see how you go.

   Once again, Sinclair, you realized the needed fix. Thanks very much for locating where on that very complex style sheet I'd find that specific media query rule.

   The text carousel now works well on smartphones and tablets. Much appreciated, pal.

   As I was checking that carousel's functionality on a variety of devices of different sizes, I see that when phones and tablets are held vertically, there's a considerable amount of top and bottom margin or padding for the page's main image. I've tried scouring that blog.css style sheet but, because there are so many lines of code regarding header image, I'm afraid to fool with trial and error attempts to reduce that space above and below the image. If you wouldn't mind taking a new look at the style sheet's media queries to see what rule controls that excess spacing and suggest which declaration to work on, I'll be most appreciative.

   It's neither padding or margin Warren, just the image keeping it's aspect ratio in relation to the screen width as one would hope and expect.

   I'd expected that I needed to revise a declaration or two to get the empty spaces above and below my desktop image to shrink when viewing the page vertically on mobile devices.

   I'm delighted that I don't have to dig deeply into that page's very complex external style sheet.
