Peekaboo is only available from the insert menu. When I try to use it I get the following message:
"This document is not located within your defined site!
Please save the document in your Dreamweaver Site first!"
The site is defined and I'm trying to use peekaboo on the index page which is saved. I've tried to uninstall it and reinstall it but get the same error message each time. I'm using Windows 7 64 bit with CS5.5. How to get this to work? Version p7_PKB_116. Thanks

That error is caused by Dreamweaver and Windows. I'm afraid we have nothing to do with it or we could address it. However, it does often indicate a real problem with your setup. Both your OS and Dreamweaver are quite old, so it could be a lot of things. Reinstalling the extension will not help as Panache is safely and securely sandboxed inside Dreamweaver and does not interact with your operating system. You might try a test:
Create a new folder, then a new file in your defined site, by right-clicking in your Files Panel.
Try to create a Peekaboo instance and see if you get a DW error. If not, you know the problem is related to your other page.

Thanks for the reply. It suddenly started working again.
EDIT: spoke too soon. Peekaboo is not producing any usable results. For example, it is not displaying my selected image.

I can only help you if you respond to my questions/instructions.
Based on the limited info provided, I would say you have a problem specific to your computer and Dreamweaver... that is, something is corrupted.

I've checked out my other PVII extensions. I'm seeing the same error message. I think the problem is with Dreamweaver. I've noticed that if I insert, say, an image Dreamweaver is including the offline site directory path so no image is displayed until I manually edit the code to remove that path. What should I d? Try reinstalling Dreamweaver or create a new site? Thanks.

I don't know what you mean by an "offline site directory path". I have encountered people in the past who've set up their defined site to use the live files on the server, which is a very, very bad idea. I really don't know what to tell you. Obviously, it things worked before and don't work now, you must have made a change. The key is to remember what you changed and change it back.

I'm not using live files on the server as my defined site. About the only recent change I made was to update Windows. By offline site directory path I mean as follows:
D:\Web\Site 1\index.php
Inserting a graphic, Dreamweaver was including D:\web\Site 1 in the path. I removed the site using the Manage Sites dialogue and created a new one. Dreamweaver seems to be working correctly now and Peekaboo seems to be working as well.
