Dear Gerry,
Thank you for helping me with a coding Issue that I had written to Al yesterday, not knowing of his passing on June 13. Thank you Weakender for posting the memorial from the funeral home. https://redmonfuneralhome.com/tribute/details/7621/Albert-Sparber/obituary.html I started P7 using Salt and Pepper. Gerry, you and Al have been such a blessing to help me earn a living using your incredible software. Al taught me to have a love for the coding and learn it professionally. Al will always be with us and in everyone’s heart. May we all put our shoulders into keeping Project Seven moving forward. Al would so much like to have that happen. I look forward to working with you Gerry, Sinclair and the P7 team I’m so sorry for your loss of a good friend and business associate.
Respectfully,
Lana

I haven't checked on the forum in general lately and am shocked to hear of Al's passing. It seems I thought he was a fixture that would always be there. So sorry for his family and friends and for all the PVII users to lose him. Condolences to the Sparber and PVII families.
Am glad to hear that Project Seven will continue on. The software from PVII is an incredible resource.

I've been out of town for a couple of weeks and just found out the news. After years of buying and using P7 products, and really, learning how to create websites with P7 products, I could always count on Al to help shore up my lack of knowledge. He got me out of many jams. He will be missed.
I'm so sorry for your loss.

I was just checking the P7 website in search for a new fancy product. What a shocking news I have just read. I am so sorry to read this. I have used the P7 products since the start of P7 and almost bought all of them. I have always felt like Al was part of 'my business'. So helpful, professional, funny and good humoured. I can really say that P7 has raised my standards and taught me a lot. I wish Al's family strength in these hard times. Also Gerry and the whole P7 team I like to wish the best in these times. I will miss Al!

I'm sad today to learn of Al's passing. He'd provided me with revolutionary products and valuable support for twelve years.
I've now prayed that his family members can turn their current sorrow into a lasting appreciation of his love for each of them and for the goodness that Al gave to thousands of us PVII customers, day after day.
I just now noticed something on this page that caused me to smile. Numerous times over the years, after receiving links from Al to new-product pages and manuals, I advised him of misspellings here and there, which he appreciated learning about and ultimately corrected. Ironically, this "In Memorium" page's title was also misspelled: It should be "In Memoriam."
Finally, to celebrate Al's dedication to providing his customers with top-notch productivity and support, I designed this scripture picture in his name.

Just called in after some months away. Have owned PVII extensions since pretty much the beginning I think. Genuinely shocked and moved when I opened the forum and saw your post Gerry. When I think PVII I think integrity and honesty and that is totally down to Al and yourself. My sincere condolences.

I just saw this announcement and I am so sorry to hear of Al's passing. I can't remember when I first started using extensions that Al was involved with but it was certainly back when DW was owned by Macromedia. I also still have my copy of Dreamweaver 4 Magic, a book that at the time seemed to offer marvels.
Rest in peace Al and thanks for all the help over the years.

Wow, I was off the forum when this was first posted so missed the thread and announcement. I only saw it because of a recent post which brought it back as an active thread.
I am stunned at the very sad news. I've had many an email from Al in my early days of buying their excellent products, especially when I was stuck. He was always so helpful.
My deepest condolences to Al's family and friends - thanks to him for all his help over the years.

Like many others I was shocked and saddened to learn of Al's passing. He seemed like one of the good guys.
Each time I submitted a question Al called me within a few minutes. He was a delight to talk to and so very helpful without a trace of condescension, even when my question had an obvious answer. He acted like he had all the time in the world to help me. I sincerely appreciated his assistance and attitude.
May God comfort Al's family and you, his business associates.
Blessings to all of you for helping so many of us out here help our clients.

Like many of the others, I came across this very sad news by chance. It was like a punch in the stomach. Although I don't spend a lot of time in the forum, Al has been a huge influence on me ever since the Dreamweaver 4 Magic book. And I only found out, I guess, because of Sue's post. Can I suggest making this sticky? I'm sure there will be many who otherwise will not know and might like to donate to the fund.
My condolences to the family and to his colleagues. He will be missed.

What a shock! Like so many others, I just came across this thread accidentally. I'm so sorry to hear of Al's passing. My condolences and prayers for him and his family, of course. Also for you, Gerry, and your crew. I'm humbled by your steady help, given the circumstances.

Like others for a number of reasons I had not been on the forums for a long time but today I happened to check in to see what was new and was shocked to find out that Al had left his body. I bought my first PVII product in 2013 and was so impressed with it that in my new found enthusiasm I bought over a dozen more. Some I have yet to use but have plans for them (-: If only other companies put so much quality and craftsmanship into the products they designed!
From watching Al over the years on the Adobe DW forum and my own interactions I sensed that he did not suffer fools lightly but would also go the extra mile to help someone in need. His wit and expertise will be missed.

I am very sad to have discovered Al passed away, I have learnt a lot from him over the many years, gosh, I even bought the first extension pvii created. It was very upsetting to know. I send a hug to his friends and family.

I've been away for a number of years from web design and just this week I started getting back into it. I bought more new goodies from Project Seven and I read some of Al's email's he had sent me years ago. Today I was looking for info on the Web and I ran across Al's obituary. My heart sank and I could not believe it. Learning of his passing made me truly sad. I know it's been a few years but it's never too late to express my sincerest condolences to Al's family and to all his friends.

Like others here, life took me in another direction for a while and am now embarking on a different path in the web area and was drawn back here today. So saddened to hear of Al's premature passing. He genuinely gave a bit of himself to all of us. He made such a difference to me when I was starting out and taught me a great deal that I value to this day. Very best wishes to all at P7 and to Al's family.
