So, get this.
I bought a new iMac running Mojave so I can continue to use Adobe DW 6 (Installed on my my 10 year old Mac Pro) without worrying about the demise of 32 bit apps.
I installed DW6 on the new Mac...it was an online software purchase from a company that is no longer out there...and the license code is not accepted, it is rejected by Adobe. Now mind you, Adobe helped me install this software TWICE before, years ago. I have an e-mail receipt form the company with download links and license code. I kept a downloaded copy just in case.
So, here we are today, and adobe will NOT validate that number. They will not allow me to e-mail them my receipt, nor will they let the program work.
They want me to subscribe...Oh, so now we understand what they are up to. Deny legally purchased older software to force people to sign up to their expensive subscription model.
This is why they took down download links to all of the older software a few months ago.
Does anyone know how you can get past this "validation" crap?
