Hi, all:
I don't own or have access to a smartphone or tablet, so I cannot determine if there's a problem with my pages' tooltip feature. My Tipso (v. 1.0.8) tooltip feature works well on my desktop devices.
First, would you please see how my tooltip feature works on your touch-screen devices it should. I just touched the word ‘flesh’ (in the seventh paragraph of your page; it has a dotted underline) but the tooltip description remains visible; it doesn't disappear when I stop touching the screen or when I retouch it. Sadly, I must close the page on my phone, then reopen it in order to no longer see the tooltip’s text. Thankfully, on my Desktop, your tooltips work great.”
To get my tooltip feature to function properly on touch-screen devices, I probably need to change something: perhaps it's my tooltip style sheet, JavaScript file, jQuery library link, or markup on my page, but I don’t know what’s needed to make my tooltips responsive on touch-screen devices.
Would you please tell me how to remedy this?
Thanks very much!
I use Bojan Petkovski's lightweight responsive jQuery tooltip plugin named “Tipso."
* Here’s my page: https://www.warrencampdesign.com/johnsEpistles/part1/week4.php
* Here’s the Tipso style sheet: https://www.warrencampdesign.com/johnsEpistles/tipso/tipso.css
* And here’s the JS file: https://www.warrencampdesign.com/johnsEpistles/tipso/tipso.js
I cannot connect with Mr. Petkovski. I need to get Tipso to work on touch-screen devices. Will you please help me?
Many thanks, in advance.
