   I was able to download and install the PVII Extension Manager (in a folder I labeled PVII-Ext-Mgr on my C drive). However, when I run the program I receive this alert error message:

   Error: Command failed: C\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe /s/c “”C:\PVII-Ext-Mgr\bin\WINDOWS\ExManCmd.exe” /list all”

   When I click OK to exit the alert window, PVII Extension Manager attempts to build extension list and then just hangs. I’ve attempted to reinstall the PVII Extension Manager several times, even attempting through the command prompt. Please help (May 1, 2020).

   Is the PVIIexman.exe file inside the /PVII-Ext-Mgr folder?

   Are there any read or write permissions on the folder?

   What version Windows are you using?

   Hi Gerry,

   was there a solution to the above problem? I ran into the same recently, after updating to cc2020. In cc2018 it worked without any probs, with the same installation of the ExMan.
   I'm running Win 10 Pro and I tried to start the .exe from different locations and drives; nothing worked.

   Or are there other ways to install my extensions?

   I have installed the Extension Manager 0.2.6 and now I get the following error message:

   Error: Command failed: C\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe /s/c “”C:\P7r\bin\WINDOWS\ExManCmd.exe” /list all”

   When I confirm the window with the error message with OK, the Extension Manager hangs while creating the list of extensions.

   Is there a solution to this problem?

   I'm having the same error and trouble running extension manager 0.2.6. Any solution?

   IPVII Extension Manager isn't the name of the folder I have the Extension Manager app placed in though…

   I find it very irritating that every update to Dreamweaver CC results in having to re-install /re-populate the extension list and the fact the extensions themselves do not give a prompt to auto-update themselves. I can use DMXzone ext manager for now I guess to get DW CC 2021 going with PVII extensions again… Thanks!

   There are quite a few issues with the Adobe Exman utility that we use in our PVII Extension Manager. Until Adobe gets these issues resolved the best approach is to use the free DMXZone Extension Manager, it does not rely on the Adobe Exman or other internals:

   I am having the same issues as the others, the "Command Failed" Issue. I upgraded DreamWeaver to 2021 (Ver 21.0, Win 10) and as usual, lost all my Project 7 extensions. Installed the latest PVII's Extension Manager, tried to run it and it comes up with the same error as the others. Did the usual research and found this post. Ended up using the DMXZone installer, which installed them, but it didn't install the usual icons across the top of the design pane under the menu. Can't seem to find out how to make the icons visible or install them. Using the standard drop-down menus to use/modify PVII extensions is a PITA, slows my workflow down. Sure with Adobe or whoever would fix the issue with the installer, I never had an issue with any PVII product before today.

   Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

   The CC versions of Dreamweaver do not show the extension icons across the top by default. Instead they are in the Insert Panel. However, you can easily get the Insert Bar (icons) across the top, see this quick tutorial:
