Hi,
I am quite frustrated with the way my Harmony-based design (still in progress) is displaying in Firefox. In particular, I'm finding that links on child-pages that are referencing anchors/divs on my scrolling portal (index) page are never going to the proper place....here's an example:
1) Using a Firefox browser and on http://earth2001.net/chimo/csd.html , scroll about 2/3rd of the way down the page, there is a text hyperlink that says: "Contact the CSD Program Manager", which links to http://earth2001.net/chimo/index.html#team . If you click on that link on the csd.html page, it does open the index (portal) page, but instead of displaying the <div id="team"> row, it always takes me to the bottom of the index page...as if it can't find the #team anchor (div id).
2) Then, staying on the index page that has now been opened in Firefox using the steps described above (with my browser now displaying http://earth2001.net/chimo/index.html#team) , I find that none of the scrolling links in the main top horizontal navigation that refer to the anchors(#) and divs on this scrolling portal page (specifically, all the tabs nested under "About Us") are working either. However, if I browse directly to http://earth2001.net/chimo/index.html, then all of the scrolling links under "About Us" in the main/top/horizontal navigation are working perfectly.
Everything that i am describing in 1 & 2 above is not happening in Chrome or Microsoft Edge and all the links appear to be working properly in those two browsers no matter how I browse to the index page, whether directly or via a child page. Does Project Seven have any recommendations or extension updates that deal with these problems in Firefox or should I abandon it as my "favourite" browser and use something else....and/but what about my web site designs being viewed by others our there in the public who may be using Firefox themselves?? My website will appear to be broken to them.
Also: Should I be asking Firefox about these issues?
Thanks,
Vanessa
