Hello, I am trying to change the size of the light box - nothing I am trying from the css seems to be working. Client wants it smaller/more centered.

Isn't this controlled by via the UI, the 'Content Width' and/or 'Max-Width' settings?
See the user guide, try those settings and see how you go.
