   When the sites were created, I used layout 01 for the menu pages and set the width to 1280 pixels via the 'Grid Option' in the HMY UI. For the interior pages, I used Layout 08 and left the layout at 1000 pixels which is the default width. The footer is also set to 1000 pixels via the Grid Options in the HMY UI.

   The menu pages are fine, but I'd like to change all the interior pages and footer from 1000 px to 1280 px. I looked around the ZGT and HMY css but none of the rules jumped out as being the one to change.

   Is there a way to change the width of the entire page (content and footer) globally?

   I'd need to open each individual page and click:

   modify - studio VII - modify existing HMY grid - change the grid options from 1k to 1280 px. - ok

   and that's just for the main content area - I'd also have to go through the same sequence to change the footer. I'm hoping there's a less time consuming workaround.

   The max width is controlled by a data attribute on the root HMY div, it will look like this:

   data-hmy-max-width="1000,px"

   You can use Find and Replace to do this quickly. Best to do this in Code View, click at the top of the page.

   -Open the Find and replace dialog ( Ctrl-F)

   -Enter this into the Find box:

   data-hmy-max-width="1000,px"

   -Enter this into the Replace box:

   data-hmy-max-width="1280,px"

   -Click the Find button

   -Now click Replace button

   -Repeat as needed.

   What a relief :)

   My site has 60+ pages to change and my sister's site has more than double that. Twelve clicks (six clicks to change content width and six for footer width) times 200 pages is way more clicks than I was looking forward to.

   Worked great!

   In case it helps someone else -

   For the first few pages I used the 'Current Document' setting which only changed one page at a time, but then I got brave. I made a backup of the folder just in case and chose the 'Entire Current Local Site' setting.

   One click did it all - content and footer.

   I have to go back and rearrange some of the images, but the wider page looks nicer and is probably better suited for today's larger monitors. Plus, users won't have to scroll as much, especially on sites like ours that have a lot of written content.

   Once you click Ctrl-F, the 'Find and Replace' dialog box pops up.

   I'm using CS5 and the default choice for the 'Find In' dialog box was 'Current Document'. After the first two tries I clicked the 'Find In' dropdown menu and changed the default to 'Entire Current Local Site' and that changed all the pages at once instead of one at a time. You'll get a warning that changing the entire site can't be undone, so be sure to make a backup.

   I'm not sure if its the same for DW CC.
