   Hello p7,

   Two questions about p7OPM:

   (1) Is there a URL or anchor method whereby on page load, a selected OPM panel will open? Rather than the "default" panel? You offered this feature with Accordion Panel Magic 3; for example, appending ?ap3=1_2&ap3=3_4 to a URL would open a selected panel on that page.

   (2) When returning to an OPM page via browser go-back button, the OPM display opens to its default panel content. Is there a way instead to have OPM open to the last panel that was viewed? (Of course I could code to accomplish this with a cookie or other means, if you have an affirmative answer to question (1) above.)

   Even if I had been looking at content on, say, panel 3, before I left the page. How can I set it so that if I go back to a page, the same panel will be open as when I left the page?

   The Omni Panel Magic (OPM) system includes support for URL parameters.

   URL Parameters

   You can set up an external link to a page that contains an Omni Panels widget, and have that link open the page and open a specific OPM panel. The URL syntax to use is:

   ?opm=1_3

   or

   #opm1_3

   You can also open a page and open multiple panels, using this syntax:

   ?opm=1_3&opm=2_2

   In order for the last opened OPM panel to be displayed when you hoit the browser back button you'll need to apply this quick code tweak:

   1. Open the p7OPMscripts.js file and locate these two lines starting at line 477:

   }
   if (a.opmPanel) {

   2. Make a new line in between those two lines and paste this into the new line:

   if(bp != 1){
   window.location.hash = 'opm'+dv.replace('p7OPM_', '') + '_' + tB.opmCurPanelNum;
   }

   so that it now looks like this:

   }
   if(bp != 1){
   window.location.hash = 'opm'+dv.replace('p7OPM_', '') + '_' + tB.opmCurPanelNum;
   }
   if (a.opmPanel) {

   3. Save and close the file.

   That's it!

   I missed the URL parameter setup in the p7OPM User Guide, but I see it now. Thanks for that.

   Meanwhile, the p7OPMscripts.js edit makes precisely the elegant fix I needed. Thank you for that especially!
