   I’m needing help with a css styling issue that I’m having. I’m using the AMM builder and have a question re styling the menu for a smartphone.

   To begin with, the background color for the navbar / rootlinks is white, with a hover of silverblue, which is what I need.

   While styling the appearance of the menu for a smartphone, the background color has been changed to silverblue but I can’t figure out where to change the color for the menu items; they’re still white but the hover color is correct. Thus far, I've changed every instance of white to red just to see if I could find the line of code that would accomplish this but no luck. I just need to change the white background of the menu items for a small screen.

   Hi Renee,

   The menu item color, for the phone, is inherited from the color used for the normal presentation, there is no separate color style rule. You'll need to add a rule to control the menu item colors separately for the phone presentation, something like:

   @media only screen and (min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 600px) {
   .p7AMM.repsonsive ul ul a {
   color: #000000;
   }
   }
