   Hi:

   Approximately six years ago, Sinclair helped me set up Flex Grid Magic (Version: 1.0.5 -build 05). I didn't make note of our e-exchange on this forum so I need to ask for clarification on the purpose of what he suggested I use.

   In the following code that I use for FGM_3, what does the "23,%" represent?

   I've tried changing the percentage to 3%, as well as 93%, but I see no difference on my Home page with any of the three percentage values.

   I've checked the user guide but I don't understand the "box width basis" after reading about it. Please help me understand this, as well as advise me if I should change "23%" to a different setting.

   Sorry I missed this one Warren,

   In FGM there are two wayd to set the width basis:

   1. Globally so that a single setting will be applied to all of the boxes, no need to set each individual box width basis.

   2. Individual width basis setting for each box. This allows you to set a different width basis on each box as needed.

   In all cases, when an Individual width basis is set, that box will use the inidvidual setting and ignore the global setting.

   On your page you have the Global width basis set at 23%:

   data-fgm="p7FGM_3,23,%,0"

   BUT, you also have each individual box set to a width basis of 18%:

   data-fgm-basis="18,%"

   This is set on each box (section).

   These individual width basis settings will over-ride the Global width basis, and since EVERY box has the 18% applied the Global width setting (23%) is completely ignored.

   Change one of the individual settings and you'll see the change reflected.

   Gerry, I thank you for looking at my page's source code and then explaining what was presented therein. I now understand what the user guide means when it refers to "box width basis."

   So that I can be sure that I fully understand this, please e-confirm that there's no need for me to change the global width basis from 23% to the individual width bases in that FGM collection, which is currently set to 18% for those individual boxes. The individual widths I've set will override the global width settings I'd initially set.

   Further, when a collection of instances in an FGM have differing individual width settings (e.g., 18%, 20%, 20%, 20%, and 18%), there's still no need for me to be concerned with changing the original global width setting (currently 23% for this page).

   Yes, you have it correct. When you use the individual box width basis it will over-ride whatever is set for the global box width setting. You do not need to change the global setting at all, it has no effect in your FGMs since they are a set up with the individual settings.
