Greetings, I am rebuilding my website and had used Drop Menu Magic DMM for my horizontal menu. I had need to check the tutorial to fix a perfomance issue and I see it has been replaced by AMM. So I bought that extension and tried to use it and the only menu I can create is a page wide vertical menu. I tried running the conversion feature on my old DMM menus and it converts them to a page wide vertical. I have been through the tutorial and cannot find a setting to "force" a horizontal menu only a vertical menu. Any help is appreciated.

There may be an underlying html markup issue on the page, it's best top have a look at the actual page so that I can diagnose this more accurately. Can you provide a link to the page please?

Thanks for the reply.
It happened with several pages. http://www.rumrunnerdiveshop.com They were almost all built from the same template.Posted 1 month ago -
With your page I was able to do a conversion to AMM without issue.
Perhaps you are referring to how the menu looks in Dreamweaver Design View... it will stack the root menu links vertically because Dreamweaver Design View does not yet support the modern css used in the AMM menu. It will, however, render perfectly when previewed in a real browser.

Gerry,
Thanks for your reply. Interesting. So I tried to convert a couple of other pages from DMM to AMM and when I try opening them in Firefox I get a bullet list and not a horizontal graphic type display. I tried two different pages. Do I need to be "putting" the page with all associated files or can I just sync?
Is there an update coming for Dreamweaver to solve this?Posted 1 month ago -
I took a look at the preview feature and I created a test file. The menu displays correctly in Firefox and IE but displays as a vertical bullet type list in Chrome and Edge.

If you are seeing an unstyled list for the menu that indicates the AMM style sheet and script files are not on your server. Be sure to upload (PUT) the /p7amm folder and all for its contents to your server.

Gerry,
Thanks for your help. I think I have it sorted out. Part of the problem was I am having FTP transfer issues and I was getting incomplete uploads. All is good now.Posted 4 weeks ago
