   Hello Gerry and everyone
   I am using SOM for the first time on a redesign of my family history site. So far I have found it easy to use, but have run into three problems. The site is available to view at https://www.familystory.site/
   My problems are:
   1. I should to make a copy of the menu to paste it into new pages. (So far I have added it to two more pages but found I could only do it by completely building each one from scratch) Is there a better way to proceed?

   2. The hamburger and its text are not so easily viewable because it appears very high up on the page. I do not know how to correct this. I would like it further down.

   3. Is there a way to change the colour of the text on the sub-menu items? I have successfully changed other colours in the CSS but I do not see an option for this. Am I missing something?

   I will be grateful for any assistance and comments.

   Hi Anne,

   1. You should be using a site-wide management system to deploy your common assets like header, logo, nav, footer. For your site I would recommend using Dreamweaver Templates. See this DW templates Tutorial for complete details, the tutorial feature our AMM menu but it will work exactly the same with SOM:

   2. The hamburger is positioned via the style sheet. Open the p7SOM-Core.css style sheet and locate this style rule at line 112:

   .som-toolbar.som-top-right {
   right: .5em;
   top: 0px;
   border-radius: 0px 0px 5px 5px;
   }

   Change the 0px to a higher value, like 10px, to bring the hamburger down.

   3. To set a different color for the sub menus add this style rule to your style sheet:

   .p7SOM-01 ul ul a {
   color: #fff;
   }

   adjust the color as needed.
